Butter cream ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so delicious! The store hours are a little off. But if you are near Dixon city PA you need to stop by this little store that is off the beaten path. It will be worth your while to stop by and get a little taste of great tasting ice cream. Check the store hours before making the trip.

I had a great experience as a guy who wants to limit his sugar intake. For me it was a perfect visit,and it has a large selection of the flavors I love.

Homemade ice cream, lots of flavor choices, quick service even when very busy.

Ordered chocolate peanut butter cup in a chocolate waffle cone and it was delicious! We loved sitting out at the tables and getting a view of the dairy farm itself. Great place!

I love going for ice cream, but until this year I was able to very a small cone with two flavors and now you cant. Either way, that's not my reason for cutting stars, because the serving is so large I dont qant anything bigger than a small, and I usually get a kids irs so much.I cut stars because I will only be going for ice cream apparently. We bought 2 half gallons to bring home and its just not the same. We got a maple walnut with barely any walnuts, but still delicious. What caused my review was the chocolate brownie. It's just chocolate with teeny tiny pieces of brownie every 10 ice cream scoops full. Theres literally 20 pieces of 1cmx1cm brownie pieces in the entire half gallon.Lesson learned, go for a cone because its delicious and amazing.

Went tonight for the first time with some locals. I got cookie dough and Oreo w/chocolate syrup. The ice cream was so creamy. Almost like butter. I’m not a fan of creamy ice cream, I like ice milk. But if I’m being honest, this was really good. It was a light fluffy creamy. Dense in its own way, not heavy creamy like any other I’ve had. I’ll buy a gallon from here next before I buy from a store. Good job Montdale, good job. Also, I live 5 hours away.

One good thing to come out of COVID, Montdale opened their outdoor stand! I like it so much better than being crowded inside! Of course, the ice cream is fantastic with tons to choose from!

The ice cream here is absolutely delicious! They use home made whipped cream on their sundaes! I had reduced fat, no sugar added cherry and moose tracks in a chocolate nut sundae - yummy!

Decided to stop in for a chocolate shake the other day. One of the best I've ever had.

I love their ice cream and sitting outside under the big umbrellas. If you are looking for a nice variety of ice cream in a beautiful country setting where you and sit can sit and relax with the kids... This is the place to go.

Best Ice cream I've ever had... Top quality taste.. Visited Montdale as a child and recently just took my own children.. What a great visit.

We got a smurf milk shake for our 3yr old granddaughter my husband got a salty caramel milkshake they both tasted like warm slightly flavored milk I could have gotten a gallon of milk at store and done same thing at home instead of paying 4.50 for each cup of milk I had a single salted pretzel cone of strawberry cheese cake which was awsome. I bought a half gal of strawberry cheese cake ice cream I will make them proper shakes tommorrow

Northeast PA is abound with great diaries. A lot of people like Manning's diary - which there are a number of locations throughout the area; while Manning's is very good Montdale is something special - make the time to venture out to the store, you will be happy that you did. Unlike some other diaries in the area, Montdale does not specialize in selling milk. The star of the show here is ice cream. I'm a massive fan of teaberry ice creams and they've got it in the summer. I have not been let down by any of the ice cream flavors. Wherever I go all ice cream is compared against Montdale - it really is that good.

Nice small location with amazing ice cream. Friendly staff and a decent selection of flavors. Parking and seating may become limited if you go during a rush period at the peak of the season.

Mondale I remember going to as a child and it had the most choices in flavor, teaberry was always a favorite of mine. It's great to 👂 that they are still operating and making the best, the freshest ice cream in Lackawanna county. So how long have I been going there? Lets just leave it at a half a century. Rock on ice cream dairy!

I am not from Pennsylvania, however, I have lots of family in Pennsylvania and we visit frequently! Each summer we are sure to visit "Montdale". The ice cream is delicious and available in every flavor you could imagine! Montdale ice cream is so delicious it's have been put in a cooler and traveled six hours home with us! I highly recommend!

Montdale Dairy has DELICIOUS ice cream! The taste is unique in that it is creamy (almost a whipped butter texture). I've made fresh ice cream at home in small batches for years. Montdale has found a way to capture that fresh, homemade taste in every ice cream they serve! Yum!
